La Grange Develops Two Alternatives for CSX Railroad Realignment

The city of La Grange has hired the firm CDP Engineers to develop two alternatives for changes to downtown streets that will be required when the CSX railroad through La Grange is rebuilt. CSX had planned to begin work to remove the street running track through La Grange as early as July; however, it now appears the work will be delayed.
