Dishman Lane Bids Lower Than Expected

Bids to repair a collapsed section of Dishman Lane in Bowling Green came in lower than expected. Scotty's Contracting submitted the lowest bid for the project at $782,095. Repair of the 130 feet by 110 feet and 15 foot deep hole is expected to take 120 days. Work is planned to begin once Bowling Green Municipal Utilities relocates a nearby water main.
