I-75 Widening (Exits 25-29) and the New KY 312 Overpass
As part of widening I-75 between Exit 25 (Whitley County) and Exit 29 (Laurel County), KYTC District 11 used rolling roadblocks on four nights in July to set beams for a new KY 312 overpass. The replacement bridge, built to make room for the wider interstate, reopened in mid-September. Nighttime I-75 lane closures in Whitley County continued into late September.
