Louisville Metro unveiled a paving plan of more than $30 million to tackle potholes. Public Works crews had patched more than 39,000 potholes so far in 2026, about a third of them after the snowy 2025–26 winter. Separately, KYTC's second phase of Bardstown Road improvements is studying whether to replace the five-way intersection at Dundee Road and Douglass Boulevard with a single-lane roundabout to improve traffic flow and shorten pedestrian crossings.
