TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Two-way Conversion of KY 420 (Ann Street) between Clinton and Broadway Street in Franklin County
Traffic pattern changes support two-way conversion of Ann Street from Mero Street to Broadway Street

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Oct. 19, 2026) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of an upcoming change to the traffic pattern on KY 420 (Ann Street) between Clinton and Broadway Street in Franklin County, where the roadway will be converted from a one-way to a two-way tomorrow, Oct. 20.

As part of the active resurfacing project, pavement markings and roadway signs will be installed on KY 420 (Ann Street) on Tuesday, Oct. 20, with intermittent lane closures possible to support the work. The new traffic pattern is being implemented to support an upcoming highway safety improvement project that will also convert Mero Street from one-way to two-way traffic between St. Clair Street and Ann Street.

Motorists should adhere to the new traffic pattern and exercise caution on this newly configured roadway.
