I-64 Work in Louisville off with a Bang

The Courier-Journal reports in this August 12, 2001 article [Outside Link] about the first weekend closing of I-64 for repaving work. They report that there were no delays along the detour routes and describe how the new pavement is designed to reduce traffic noise.
