Black Bear Struck in Northern Kentucky

A black bear was recently struck by a car in Boone County in Northern Kentucky. The bear was not found; however, hair found after the accident was tested and determined to be from a black bear: Cincinnati Enquirer: Test confirms car hit black bear in N.Ky. (June 26, 2004) [Outside Link]
