Here, you'll find all of the NEW projects, maintenance, and other work taking place in our 11 county district:
Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Harrison, Kenton, Owen, Pendleton, and Robertson Counties

Pothole patching, sweeping, drain & ditch work, litter pick up, brush clearing, culvert repairs and additional work by our KYTC maintenance crews may occur on major interstates/state routes during non-peak daytime hours and at night.
Motorists should watch for roadside maintenance on interstates/highways throughout the district DAILY. We will send out information to the public if these tasks require significant impacts to traffic.

Boone County
I-275 – 4.9 mile point – Rolling roadblocks for utility work on I-275 west of the Petersburg Road (KY 20) Overpass scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 11, have been postponed. KYTC will provide an update once the work is rescheduled.
Carroll County
- Various I-71 Ramps to Exit 44 (KY 227/Carrollton/Worthville) – The KYTC Carroll County maintenance crew will continue surface repairs to improve safety on two ramps beginning Monday, Oct. 12.
Crews have completed work on the KY 227 on-ramp to I-71 southbound.
Monday, Oct. 12 and Tuesday, Oct. 13: Crews will be working on the I-71 northbound off-ramp to KY 227. The ramp will be closed 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, to perform the repairs safely. The ramp is expected to reopen daily by 7 p.m.
Motorists should use caution when traveling through the area and plan to take an alternate route during the closure.
The project is expected to be completed by 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13.
Grant County
KY 36 – 13.70 – 14.44 mile point – A preventive maintenance project on a portion of KY 36 from east of Lynnwood Drive extending east to the I-75 interchange is complete.
Harrison County
- Beaver Baptist Road (KY 3003) – 2.05 – 3.60 mile point – A resurfacing project on a portion of Beaver Baptist Road beginning at Oak Ridge Road extending east to Smithsonville Road/Duckworth Road is complete.
Kenton County
- Turkeyfoot Road (KY 1303) – 1.05 – 2.71 mile point – A preventive maintenance project on a portion of Turkeyfoot Road from north of Beechgrove Drive to south of Brightleaf Boulevard is nearing completion. Paving operations are complete. The final task is applying thermoplastic striping within the project limits. This work is weather permitting. Minor delays may occur when this work is being performed. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times.
- Bristow Road (KY 1303) – 0.0 – 0.92 mile point – A widening and safety improvement project on Bristow Road from north of Timber Lane to KY 536 is substantially complete. Crews will continue minor work throughout the project limits as they complete final corrective work tasks. For more information on this project, visit our KY 536 website here

- Locust Pike (KY 1930) – 3.88 – 4.53 mile points – A maintenance project on a portion of Locust Pike from Railroad Drive to Wilson Lane is in progress. The portion of road that was blocked to through traffic was reopened on Friday, Oct. 9. Crews continue working on brush clearing operations utilizing a temporary traffic signal on this corridor. Please drive carefully through the work zone. Weather permitting, brush clearing operations are expected to be completed Friday, Oct. 30.
